Visiting Cairngorm Mountain And The Cairngorms National Park

Boasting 30km of runs, 11 lifts, on-site equipment hire and a freestyle park, Cairngorm Mountain has something for everyone. At the Ptarmigan Top Station, you can experience spectacular panoramic views across Loch Morlich, Cairngorms National Park and the beautiful valley below.

The beautiful scenery, excellent facilities and easy location are what brings everyone from ski enthusiasts to first-timers to the area. In 2019, a new snow factory was introduced to Cairngorm Mountain which provides base station level skiing, perfect for beginners.

This additional snow created helps to keep access from the low slopes to the upper and mid-station lifts. Some visitors choose to leave the crowds and ski lifts behind and explore the Cairngorms National Park, which offers endless skiing opportunities.

And, at the end of an adventure-packed day, you can rest and recuperate for another day of adventure at the homely Ravenscraig House.
